black- on-White murders (sometimes) get an initial burst of publicity, then undergo a news blackout. In a couple of years a trial will suddenly happen with local coverage only.

The only black-on-White murder ever to be a National Morality Play was the O.J. Simpson farce. And in that one the msm hoped and slanted coverage for an acquittal. Which they got.

The media did not get that acquittal. The alchemy which produced a jury with nine blacks on it in a county which was about 10% black at the time is responsible for that. Steven Brill noted some other problems in re Marcia Clark (“she spent days questioning [certain] witnesses when she should have spent an hour”), and putting Mark Fuhrman on the stand when she might have used his partner Brad Roberts. Mark Fuhrman’s garrulous past gave the jury the excuse it wanted.

Marcia Clark didn’t have to put Fuhrman on the stand. You will note the victim’s attorneys in the wrongful death civil trial cut him out of the case completely.

Clark was about the worst trial strategist ever seen, made the wrong move every time. When Judge Lance Ito (a big part of the alchemy) ruled the defense could ask Fuhrman about the n-word, Clark refused to appeal it to the California Supreme Court. In her book, Clark said she thought Ito would stick it to the prosecution with every ruling, had she appealed. Ito stuck it to them, anyway. Not “taking a writ” about the n-word was the only mistake Clark admitted to in her book.

In October 1993, there was a murder trial in the downtown LA courthouse concerning a black-on-White murder. The 60 Minutes TV show filmed the trial. I exchanged emails with the trial prosecutor and met him for lunch, when he came to Tennessee some years ago.

The prosecutor told me the CBS people expected and hoped for an acquittal which would make a great 60 Minutes segment–“Black Family Man has his life messed up by the system.”

As the trial went on, the TV people came up to the prosecutor and said, “He really is guilty.” The defendant was found guilty. That time the evidence and a competent Deputy DA brought a conviction. By the way, the defendant in this 1993 trial, Vernon Robinson, was paroled in 2018.

My theory is that L.A. DA Gil Garcetti threw the case, when he decided to try it in Downtown L.A., which had a disproportinately high number of blacks, as opposed to predominantly White Brentwood, where where the Butcher had wreaked his mayhem. Once a predominantly black jury was empaneled, the show was over.

I'm sorry--what's this?black on White murders? My guru,Lesta Holt, has never mentioned such a thing--and he definitely would--if he'd heard about such an incident. As for WHITES killing blacks, well now, that's as common as a bird flying across the sky--Lesta says--plus we lock up blacks for no good reason.Yup,it's a good thing I watch Lesta Holt,Joy Behar,Nicole Wallace,Norah O'Donnell--and all these smart, honest, trustworthy reporters.

They'd never lie to me or this country.

Signed,
An easily buffaloed Whitey.
