Previously Suppressed, Exculpatory George Floyd Police Body Cam Video was Leaked to the Daily Mail, Which Twisted Its Meaning to Try and Maintain the Railroading of Four Minneapolis Cops

Daily Mail introduction to video (paragraphing added by N.S.):

“The terror on George Floyd’s face as a rookie cop points a gun at his head while he sits in his car can be seen today for the first time.

“DailyMail.com has exclusively obtained video from the bodycams of officers Thomas Lane and Alex Kueng, who were part of Floyd’s fatal arrest on Memorial Day in Minneapolis. Floyd died after Officer Derek Chauvin kneeled on his neck for nine minutes on May 25.

“The tapes show in minute detail how Floyd begs ‘Mr. Officer, please don’t shoot me. Please man,’ before the struggle that ended with his death. It also shows how Floyd resisted as the cops tried to force him into the back of the car, telling them he suffers from claustrophobia and anxiety. [He had just been driving!]

“The video begins with Lane knocking on Floyd’s car window with a flashlight and once Floyd opens the door, Lane pulls out his gun and points it at Floyd’s head. Floyd, 46, begs him not to shoot, saying: ‘I’ll look at you eye-to-eye. Please don’t shoot me, man. I just lost my mom, man.’

“He sobs as the officers pull him out of the car and handcuff him, as his ex suggests he was undergoing mental problems and was afraid of police.

“After the struggle to get Floyd in the cop car, he is suddenly on the sidewalk with Chauvin’s knee on his neck. Floyd says he can’t breathe numerous times [which means that he could breathe at that moment] and calls for his ‘momma’ but his voice slowly gets weaker as his life drains away, even saying ‘I'll probably just die this way.’”

I’ve been talking for at least three years about the pc decline of the Daily Mail.

George Floyd knew what crime he had just committed, and he was a violent, convicted, career felon. He knew the drill.

No adult with any experience of crime (e.g., including a crime reporter with a major newspaper) could possibly believe the opening sentence. The writer is a liar, and a stupid liar, at that.

George Floyd was either having a drug-induced, psychotic episode, or he was putting on a show. In either case, he presented a grave danger to those four cops.

Agree, but media gives black thugs not only the benefit of the doubt, but bends over backwards to defend ANY actions the blacks(Floyd here)take while in police custody,as inferring guilt on cops.Watching MSM news is tantamount to only viewing the pro-black version of this case--with no defense by the cops allowed. It's a one way railroad, that NBC(in particular)hopes, sends the cops to prison--and if not--more riots.

"Floyd says he can’t breathe numerous times [which means that he could breathe at that moment]"

Correct. The man died of a heart attack caused by the illegal compound substances he had ingested. A symptom of a heart attack is a shortness of breath. The heart is not pumping properly to send the oxygenated blood to the body. The man DID NOT die from being choked or strangled.
