mlb: Still Speaking Spanish

"W": I've seen Johnny Cueto pitch some good games for the Reds and a time or two for the Giants. But if you read this article, turns out he is still speaking Spanish:

https://www.mlb.com/news/hunter-pence-loses-ball-ending-johnny-cueto-no-hitter?partnerId=zh-20200809-156906-MLB&qid=1026&bt_ee=IdNrxkTHHH8SNTn0fe51rNbLHB1NubQOZjAAmpU5a8ODUXTIb0kDhAi%2BdTJkGD7q&bt_ts=1596973120091

N.S.: Broadcasters used to occasionally say something about this, only to lie and assert that the foreign Hispanic players were learning English. Then why does every time now have an overpaid, full-time Spanish-English interpreter?

"Why does every team need... an interpreter?"

Just like courthouses have to have interpreters and schools have to offer interpreters and bilingual so-called 'education' and of course ballots are printed in dozens of different languages and this year we get to have multilingual mail ballot fraud.
