A Toothless Burglary during Rioting in Grand Rapids

When the riots were happening around May 30th, the worst night of it was Saturday night.

There was a break-in and robbery around 4 a.m. at a store nearby, that carries scratch-off tickets. Four blacks (three males and one female) smashed a glass window and attempted to jump in.

The story is, the female went in first—headfirst supposedly—and ran her face into a very hard handrail, busting up her mouth and teeth.

The loss of blood and enamel didn't stop the rest from invading the store—they proceeded to steal hundreds of those scratch-offs (and cigs and booze).
What they weren’t aware of, was because of COVID-19, tickets were not being sold at the store and were de-activated—just in case of robbery.

As these four tried to cash these tickets in (hoping to get some money for oral surgery at this point), they “bounced”—couldn’t be cashed, which meant, they had to be stolen.

Word has it, they were picked up by GRPD. The girl—around 20 years old—
probably bore a striking resemblance to Moms Mabley—thanks to the lack of teeth.

I’ll bet no one has ever heard of that former talk show guest (nor is it important)—she appeared quite often on Merv Griffin and, I believe, Mike Douglas in the early 1970s.

That night in GR, we had Moms Mabley Jr. in town—thanks to more black stupidity.
