A classic song from possibly the best years of rock music (1966-1969).The bulk of my albums and 45s are from that era, though I was less than 10 at the time,I had a transistor radio on all the time. In the late 70s,I started collecting albums at oldies record shops--from the Animals and the Association to Zager and Evans and the Zombies,I bought them all--usually for $1.99 or less each--used. This song was written by a songwriting team named the Addrisi brothers. They also had a #25 hit on their own, called,"We've Got To Get It On Again",from 1972.Their bio also has t&m listed as the writers of the "Nanny and the Professor" theme. That's your music history lesson for the day. ---GRA
