I was going to comment on how clumsy this hoax was and compare it to Tawana Brawley, then attribute it to their ages but then it occurred to me: Was Jussie Smollet's hoax any better? His hoax was as clumsy and stupid as this girls was and he's an adult, at least on the surface, the emotional maturity level could be a completely different thing. When you go down the list of fake hate crimes they are all the same way, staged with no true planning or cleverness.
The scary thing is that with just a little planning and forethought these hucksters could stage some pretty convincing hoaxes, at least to ones who want to believe in them. And let's face it, the left desperately wants to believe every fake hate crime that comes down the pike, they only need a surface presentation of credibility and that's enough.
