A Taco Bell commercial has been running frequently, during Mets losses. It flogs some sort of “chalupa” sandwich, which TB “curates” with cheese. I have been seeing other improper forms of this word elsewhere, as well.
The only context, in which it is fit and proper to use a form of the word “curate,” is regarding a museum or art gallery. Otherwise, the person using that phrase is guilty of Decadence in the First Degree.
There are no curators here.
