GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Grand Rapids has a selected its next police chief: Grand Rapids Police Deputy Chief [black] Eric Payne.

City Manager [black] Mark Washington announced his selection for the top job at the Grand Rapids Police Department Friday.

The new police chief will hold his first news conference around 1 p.m. Friday, which will be livestreamed on woodtv.com.

Payne, who has been with the department for 32 years, will become police chief effective July 22. He will replace [white] David Rahinsky, who retired. [GRA: He couldn't take it anymore. Blacks were always bitching about the white police].

“Chief Payne is exactly the kind of leader we need for our police department,” Washington said in a news release. “He is responsive, tough on crime [GRA: On whites, not on blacks] and collaborative and he is committed to community policing. He has proven senior executive law enforcement experience and he has devoted his career to keeping our community safe.”

[GRA: His famous quote of a week ago is “You can’t solve crime by arresting everybody.”]

The finalist for the chief position were Payne and retired Pittsburgh Assistant Police Chief [white Italian] Larry Scirotto after Lansing Police Chief [white Pole] Mike Yankowski pulled his name from consideration in June [he knew this process was a total scam].

GRA: If you need any proof that blacks stick together in government, here it is. Only the mayor (ultra-lib Rosalyn Bliss) is white (she appointed the black city manager, who hired another black). Hiring black police chiefs has been a godsend to Chicago, St.Louis, Philly, Baltimore and many others—hasn't it? No mo’ crime in those cities, is there?

Grand Rapids has now gone black--and we ain’t goin’ back.

I have never heard of a competent, decent black police executive (police chief or sheriff).

They are both intellectually and morally unfit for the job.

Eric Payne was hired as a cop because he’s black, and promoted because he’s black.

The intellectual profile of black policemen is horrific. Many are functionally illiterate, they wear their color on their sleeves, and seek to destroy diligent white cops, while aiding and abetting black criminals.

The city manager model was supposed to be a solution to politicized municipal management. The city manager would be a competent, non-partisan technocrat. That model is completely incompatible with black rule. You cannot have a black city manager, anymore than you can have a black chief of police. Both jobs require a super-intelligent, extremely organized professional. Because of radically lower hiring standards for blacks, if a black is hired, that person will always be incompetent and will resolutely refuse to carry out his duties in a non-partisan manner. Blacks simply have no concept of non-partisan professionalism. Everything they do, they do to harm whites and help blacks.

"The intellectual profile of black policemen is horrific."

They gave the test for the Chicago Police force a number of years ago now. 33,000 showed up to take the test and only half passed. A passing score was 50 %. It was rumored two women got all 128 questions correct and they alone passed with a perfect score. But no more consideration given to hiring the two women than would be given to a person who passed the test with only a score of 50 %.

You just described our former affirmative action police chief,Charles Moose, to a tee. Thankfully he is gone now but was so clueless he actually reapplied for the job again a few years back when the position was vacant. Readers here already know about him because you've covered him before, especially his role in allowing black mass shooters Malvo and Boyd to operate longer due to his racist refusal to believe thr shooters were black men.

Our virtue signalling migrant loving diversity loon of a mayor, Ted Wheeler, decided to appoint a black woman as the new police chief. Danielle Outlaw, single mother (surprise, surprise) has held the office for a couple of years now and has stayed relatively low key, she seems smarter than Moose and a little more aware of maintaining composure in a stressful job. No public meltdowns citing racist discrimination that Moose was prone to, so far anyways.
