In the Sixth Inning, Strike Four is the Difference in Potential ALCS Elimination Game Between the Reds Sox and Astros

By Nicholas Stix

In the third inning on a two-strike count, Astros ace Justin Verlander threw a perfect slider to Red Sox slugger J.D. Martinez. Umpire Chris Guccione blew the call, and Martinez got a second life. On the next pitch, Verlander threw a hanging curve ball to Martinez, who hit it for a monster home run. 1-0, Red Sox.

And that’s how it is in the top of the sixth.
