First of all, the young woman in question has not revealed herself, since she has only given her performing name. Second, if you want to see more, you can, but not here. Having seen clinical photos, I can say that Miss “Knox” is neither attractive nor sexy. Then again, I could say the same or most actresses, whether “stars” or porno players.

She wrote, “Today, I am choosing to reveal my porn identity to the world. My name is Belle Knox, and I wear my Scarlet Letter with pride.”

She’s full of crap. She didn’t reveal her real identity. This was nothing but a business move. But I have to say that it couldn’t have happened to a more deserving place, or to a more deserving college president, in Richard Brodhead. Brodhead is assured of going down in school history as the president who is indelibly associated with prostitutes, strippers, porn stars and persecution of the innocent—and deservedly so!

Duke porn star reveals herself

The Duke porn star has come out from under the covers.

The university freshman — who bared her skin in blue movies to pay for college — bared her soul Tuesday in an online column in which she posted her picture and revealed her stage name as Belle Knox.

She wrote about how she has been bullied on campus since word of her racy part-time job spread.

“My decision to do porn to pay for college was a private one I made, and then I was outed to my university classmates by another Duke student who had seen me on the Internet a few months ago,” Knox wrote on the XO Jane website. “He proceeded to reveal who I was to the entire Greek system . . . I started to be harassed. He started to be applauded.”

Knox first sparked controversy when she posted an anonymous column on the Jane site last month, talking about how she worked as a porn actress while attending the prestigious North Carolina school.

In today’s revealing story, Knox says she was heavily criticized online for not going the full monty with her identity in the February article.

She also talked about how people had posted messages online saying she should be “raped” and calling on her to “slit her wrists.”

She complained about a double standard under which women who act in porn are shamed but men who watch it are not.

“You want to see me naked. And then you want to judge me for letting you see me naked.”

[N.S.: No one wants to see you naked, dear. You have no sex appeal whatsoever.]

She ended by saying: “Today, I am choosing to reveal my porn identity to the world. My name is Belle Knox, and I wear my Scarlet Letter with pride.”

My decision to do porn was a "private" one? I was "outed"?

Are you serious lady?

Her face and body is revealed to a public (paying) audience and she's concerned about her "privacy"?

Who does she think she's kidding?

When you engage in a commercial enterprise such as pornography there is no "privacy". It's public, people recognize your face and your name goes public. It can't be helped. OK, maybe it's all a publicity ploy on her part but that anyone can say such nonsense with a straight face is surreal. Jerry

Her real, real name is Miriam Weeks. So, not so brave anouncing only her stage name. And if she is so proud of porn why not her real name?
